Though seemingly passive and demure, Jane can be very cunning and shrewd when the situation calls for it- though for the most part, she's just very skilled at knowing when to speak up and when to shut up. This tends to lead to her defaulting to being the mediator when the queens start fighting- assuming, of course, that she herself isn't caught up in the heat of the moment. Very insecure about the fact that she died young- of natural causes- as opposed to going out in a dramatic fashion like Anne did.
