In the year 2284, as Earth collapses from ecological ruin, guilt-ridden industrialist Gabriel Torrence joins humanity’s first interstellar colonization mission aboard the Erebus. Haunted by the devastation his corporation caused on Earth, Gabriel seeks redemption but discovers the mission is riddled with corruption. Along the way, the crew encounters the ruins of an alien civilization that destroyed itself, sparking a moral crisis about humanity’s own survival instincts. Reaching the harsh and unforgiving Eden 5, tensions explode into rebellion as Gabriel exposes the corporate lies behind the mission. Cast out and left for dead, he leads a group of survivors to start anew, rejecting humanity’s cycle of exploitation. However, the ambiguous ending questions whether humanity can truly change or if they are destined to repeat their failures.
