Synopsis

Prentisstown is not like other cities. Since its habitants became infected with the germ, they can hear the thoughts of the people around them in a constant and overwhelming noise. There is no privacy. There are no secrets. Todd Hewitt is the only teenager in this city of men. This has never been his place. He has never fitted in. Until by chance he finds a completely silent site. Something impossible. A terrible secret. And now he's going to have to escape before it's too late.

  • user_35274 I’m sorry but the sypnosis annoys me. In the book they never say infected by the germ they say caught the noise. Todd also isn’t a teenager he isn’t 13 yet which is a man in this world so there is no teenager state. You go from being a child to being a man. Please if you’re going to write a sypnosis, get the facts right
