Cenozoic is a 2004 American animated adventure comedy film produced by Paramount Pictures. Set during the days of the ice age in the Cenozoic the film centers around three main characters—Melvin, a no-nonsense woolly mammoth, Austin, a loudmouthed dinopithecus, and Leonard, a sardonic saber-toothed cat—who come across a wolf puppy and work together to return it to its pack. Additionally, the film occasionally follows Sam, a speechless "leptictidium", who is perpetually searching for a place in the ground to bury his acorn.
