The wildcards are a ragtag team of powered young adults formed in 1975 by Soteria agent Lilly Richards to combat the rising threat of superpowered wrong-doers. Operating from the abandoned metro station in Holborn, a fictional megacity in North Carolina, the team consists of an ever-changing cast of vibrant characters using their gifts to protect the city they call home.
