The Caraval Trilogy
Scarlett Dragna has dreamed her whole life of seeing Caraval, a magical once-a-year performance where the audience participates in the show. But her father is cruel and controlling, and he has arranged a marriage for her that will keep her trapped forever. Just before the wedding, Scarlett and her daring sister Donatella are whisked away to the island where Caraval takes place. There, Tella is kidnapped — and Scarlett learns that finding her sister is the main objective of this year’s game. As Scarlett dives deeper into Caraval’s world of illusions, secrets, and lies, she must decide what is real, what’s part of the game, and whether risking everything for her sister is worth losing her heart to the mysterious Legend, the master of Caraval.
