William Batson, once a renowned vigilante, now old and consumed with regrets and a strained relationship with his family, watches powerless as his old nemesis Doctor Sivana returns with a plan to take over the world. However, a fateful meeting with a mysterious Wizard grants William the chance to return to his youthful body and gain powers whenever he says the word "Shazam!". Revitalized, William resolves to use his newfound strength to stop his old nemesis, fix his mistakes, and prove to himself, his family and the world that he's a true hero.
