Johann Schmidt, known as the Red Skull, fully embraces the Reich’s cruelty and uses the Tesseract to further his ambition of world domination. Dr. Arnim Zola, seemingly meek, reveals glimpses of his darker side, hinting at future dangers. During a critical mission behind enemy lines, Steve encounters Logan, a soldier with extraordinary healing abilities and combat prowess. Logan fights alongside Steve’s squad in a brutal skirmish against HYDRA forces. Their brief but respectful interactions contrast Logan’s hardened demeanor with Steve’s idealism, laying the groundwork for their future connections. As the war rages on, Steve faces his greatest challenge. He sacrifices himself to stop Red Skull’s Tesseract-powered aircraft from devastating the world, crashing it into the Arctic and becoming frozen in the ice for decades. Post Credits: Steve wakes up in modern-day New York, confused by his surroundings. Nick Fury greets him and informs Steve that the world needs him once again, hinting at future challenges on the horizon.
