A period piece prequel to the 'Candyman' series that explores the title character's origins in full detail: Him being hired as a painter by the Sullivan family to paint a picture of their daughter Caroline, them falling in love, the lynch mob hunting him down, and his eventual return as the Candyman, who seeks vengeance upon those in the lynch mob.
