Jaime Reyes was a relatively normal high school student from El Paso, Texas. His father ran a garage, his mother was a paramedic and his younger sister was a brat. Jaime went out with his two best friends Brenda and Paco, after an accident on a college tour a scarab sticks to Jaime's back giving him super powers.
