“The Blood Curse” series of novels by Tessa awn feature the Silivasi brothers Nachari, Marquis, Nathaniel, and Kagen. The brothers are vampires descended from the Jadon family whose lineage is under a curse. The curse was pronounced on Prince Jadon the Romanian and Prince Jaegar the evil one. Due to their many transgressions against women, they have been cursed to never have female children or ever feel the companionship or love of women. They would always get their sons as twins from women that would die a cruel death immediately after giving birth. The first set of twins would have to be sacrificed while the second set would have an evil pair of sons. If the family refused to sacrifice the first set, the family would die a horrible death and remain immortal, so that they could suffer a life of walking in the dark drinking the blood of innocents. The Jadon line successfully petitioned and had their curse lightened, so that their descendants could walk during the daytime, though they still could not have female offspring and did not need to kill even if they still lived on blood.
