After key members of the National Cyber Security Division are assassinated their systems are hacked by unknown perpetrators, a federal agent (Viola Davis) suspects that some members may have gone rogue accessing their Deep Shell national security AI but she needs to find the cyber-criminals first. A team of loosely affiliated consultants tasked with running out of the box scenarios led by convicted hacker Nick Hathaway (Chris Hemsworth) seem to know more than they should about the situation
