From great victories, comes great challenges. After the apparent defeat of the evil Makuta, and the return to the long-forgotten city of Metru Nui, the matoran, Toa Nuva, and turaga must grapple with a horrifying truth; Mata Nui is dying. In order to save, and reawaken the Great Spirit, a mask known as the Kanohi Ignika- the Mask of Life- must be discovered and used before Mata Nui, along with the rest of the inhabitants of the Matoran Universe, perish.
