In the wake of multiversal disruptions that have shaken the world, Tokyo becomes the center of a dangerous surge in dark-dimensional energy. When the malevolent entity Everwraith begins tearing through the city with powers drawn from corrupted Darkforce energy, Japan’s intelligence agency activates a covert new superhuman initiative. Teen robotics prodigy Hiro Takachiho (Dylan Henry Lau) is pulled into the chaos when his bio-engineered guardian Baymax (voiced by Richard Ayoade) transforms into a powerful armored protector. Soon Hiro joins forces with no-nonsense speedster GoGo Tomago (Momona Tamada), quantum-chemist Honey Lemon (Thalia Tran), shape-shifting kaiju-style powerhouse Fredzilla (Kaido Lee Roberts), and disciplined energy-sword warrior Wasabi No-Ginger (Dallas James Liu). As Everwraith attempts to rip open a dimensional rift above Tokyo, the newly assembled team must confront their own limitations, rising threats, and the emotional weight of what it means to be heroes. United by purpose, they evolve into Big Hero 6—Japan’s first official MCU-era superteam.
