After the catastrophic events on Isla Nublar, Ian Malcolm became an unlikely celebrity, hailed for his predictions about the park's collapse. However, his newfound fame came with a price: he was constantly bombarded with requests for interviews, lectures, and consulting work. Feeling suffocated by the attention, Malcolm retreated from the public eye, seeking solace in his work. Malcolm is approached by a mysterious organization with a proposal: they want him to join a team of scientists on a remote island, where they are conducting secret research on the surviving dinosaurs from Isla Nublar. The organization, known only as "The Consortium," claims to have a revolutionary new technology that can control and manipulate the dinosaurs' behavior.
