Between Two Summers

Original Story

Five eleven year olds come together the summer of 1992 at a summer camp on the northern edge of Staten Island, New York. Ten year later the remaining campers of badger cabin return to the place that set forth the rest of their lives. A "This is us" type tv series spanning ten years tells the story of how one person, one summer, one event can change the rest of one's life. It's all very arbitrary and aesthetic and character driven and Lorde's "Ribs" probably plays at one point. Think of Stephen Kings's "IT" but without the clowns and with more slow montages backdropped by indie music and the agony of growing up. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ “A part of us always remains when we leave somewhere.
