  • madtownguy We begin in Smallville 9 years in the past. We see a kid walking along train-tracks, he comes to bridge over a river. As he's walking over a train suddenly comes into view, the kid trips and falls on the bridge. As he is about get hit, something lifts him away to safety: It's an 18- year old Clark Kent. After saving the boy, Clark returns to his family farm for dinner with his parents, Johnathan and Martha Kent. Present Day, Clark is 5 months into his persona as Superman in Metropolis and the whole city is caught with superman fever. Clark works for the Daily Planet and is getting used to his new surroundings: His new best buddy, photographer Jimmy Olsen, his demanding boss, Perry White, and the best reporter at the paper, Lois Lane. Elsewhere at LexCorp, Lex Luthor is ranting to his executive assistant Eve Techmacher on the danger of a unchecked flying alien is the world and is determined to bring him crashing to earth. As we move along, Clark falls in love with Lois but struggles to her the truth as he continues to fight of villians, Livewire being a main force. Lex finds out from a article done by Lois that Clark is from Krypton and discovers Kryptonite is his weakness. This sets up a final showdown between Lex and Clark while Lois, who finds out both Superman's identity and Lex's plan, gets attacked Livewire who is now working with Lex. Lois beats Livewire with help from Jimmy and arrives in time to save Clark from Lex. Lex is then arrested. The movie ends with Clark and Lois kissing while at Johnathan Kent's funeral (he dies from a heart attack midway through). Mid-credit: Ms. Techmacher meets with Lex in prison to inform him Metallo will soon be operational.
