Kate Kane grew up idolizing The Batman of Gotham without knowing that it was her distant older cousin Bruce Wayne. She moved to Gotham after her sister had tragically “died”. There she sought out vengeance for her death and finally met The Batman and found out it was her cousin Bruce Wayne. After she proved herself, Bruce indicted her into The Batfamily.
