A condensed retelling of the story of Battlestar Galactica, in which the totalitarian forces of the long distant Cyrannus Galaxy (the Union to Resist Colonial Intervention led by the One Cylon Empire) destroy the Confederacy of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol - leaving the human survivors in a fleet of ships under their last battlestar Galactica to seek out and save their kin on Earth. On the trail they blaze racing to Earth, they must stop the Union and the traitorous human leader Count Asmodeus Baltar from using an experimental terraforming project called Anastasis designed to bring life to barren planets for evil. Humor and heartbreak are intertwined as intelligence and impulse clash between Baltar seeking revenge on the Galactica's commander Noah Adama...
