The Dark Knight and The Bright Sun meet
With tensions rising between the government and Superman, Amanda Waller and General Sam Lane launch a secret project to create weapons capable of containing him — and among the companies hired is the powerful LexCorp. Leading the project, Lex Luthor (Patrick Wilson) develops advanced technologies, while other companies, such as Wayne Industries, refuse to get involved. When a series of impossible murders begins to rock Metropolis, suspicion falls on the Man of Steel himself (David Corenswet). The suspicion attracts the attention of a silent Gotham vigilante — Batman (Robert Pattinson) — who travels to Metropolis to uncover the truth. As tensions between heroes grow and dark secrets come to light, a larger plan unfolds — one that threatens not only Superman's reputation, but also the balance between hope and fear in a world on the brink of chaos.
