In the aftermath of the devastating loss of his protege, Jason Todd, that died 6 months before. Batman finds himself trapped in an unyielding state of mourning. Consumed by guilt and grief, he withdraws further into the shadows of Gotham City, unable to escape the haunting memories of that fateful night. But as darkness envelopes the city, the Caped Crusader realizes that he cannot remain idle.
