A Burtonverse Interquel
A wave of mysterious attacks grips the denizens of Gotham City in fear. Not the most unusual spectacle but they are happening on an almost viral scale. The most recent one occurs on the doorstep of billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, after a private party. One of the attendees, movie star and model Julie Madison, goes missing, leaving it up to him to conduct the main search effort. What he finds will bring him into the path of destruction set out by a dangerous cult leader as well as the reason these violent assaults are being committed. He must stop the rest of Gotham from being overwhelmed by an extreme threat that lingers in the dark, but only he can stop it as...the Batman!
