Batman's son Damien Wayne visits his father in Gotham. Contrary to his expectations, his father already has enough students and partners so that Gotham can sleep peacefully even after his death. Damien still seeks favor from his father and begins to learn from him. Damien becomes the new Robin, meets Barbara Gordon and, in the future, dons his father's cape.
