Set during the events of the Batman The Adventures Continue HBO Max TV Show, the Batman faces a mid-life crisis even questioning about his decisions of protecting Gotham City while there also comes consequences within that responsability like having Barbara Gordon paralyzed and discovering that Jason Todd became the Red Hood and teamed up with the Deathstroke, when Batman battles Bane, he becomes injured when Bane breaks the Bat's back, so it is up to a retired and weak Bruce Wayne alongside Robin to let Azrael to become the new Batman.
