The Court of Owls is an ancient conspiracy that controlled Gotham City for centuries, and now the Court wants to take control of Gotham again, so now it's up to Batman and his team to stop them. Here, Batman is already thinking about giving up being a crime fighter. During the film, there will be several references to the Justice League and the death of Superman, at one point in the film, Bruce mentions that Dick is busy with the Titans. Post credits: Batman and Amanda Waller then talks about Luthor as Waller says she has plans for Belle Reve but Batman says that he will come for her if she reopens Task Force X
