In the prime universe, there exists Bruce Wayne, a man who became the Batman after losing his parents and girlfriend, Rose. There is also Arthur Fleck, a former circus clown who was critically injured by Slade Wilson and turned to a life of crime under the alias of "the Joker". But in this universe, Bruce and Arthur both are dead. In their places stand Thomas Wayne, who is the Batman of what is known as the "Flashpoint" timeline, and Martha Wayne, who takes Arthur's place as the Joker. Now, Thomas is faced with shame and rage in the eyes of the public, at least in his image of Gotham's Dark Knight, for putting down the threat of a Man of Steel turned evil. And after the death of his first son, Thomas Wayne, Jr., at the hands of the Joker, Batman must confront the Ravager/Rose Wilson from wreaking havoc upon the city, alongside the former District Attorney Gil Coulson/Two-Face, and Yo-Yo, formerly Doctor Harleen Quinzel of Arkham Asylum.
