When Joker starts getting more violent and dangerous Batman and Robin have to find out how to stop him. The movie follows Joker as he finds out he is dying from a deadly disease that is destroying his lungs. We watch Joker try and pull off as many stunts as possible before his time runs out while we also see flashbacks of his origin. It turns out that he used to be a comedian but after a mix up where he was accused of killing his pregnant wife, he started running from the law eventually becoming the Red Hood. Soon Batman found him hiding in Ace Chemicals and before Batman could do anything Red Hood jumped into a vat of chemicals to escape Batman and after that went insane because of his scars. Batman was also affected by all of it afterwards he gave up being Batman for five years because he failed the Joker. At the end of the movie Joker arrives at Barbara Gordan's house and shoots her through the stomach, paralyzing her. The movie closes with Batman, Nightwing, and Robinin the Batcave watching a tape Joker made of him killing himself.
