Batman is increasingly violent after the death of Jason Todd, which disrupts Black Mask's business. To solve the problem, Sionis hires Slade Wilson, a mercenary who harbors a personal vendetta against the bat. Meanwhile, the Joker hatches a plan to escape Arkham Asylum.
