The stands on a lonely Friday night in Gotham. Bruce decides to go to a show, he had just gotten extremely beaten down in his fight with Lex Luthor and Thrax. He needed time off. Of course, by some mysterious force, Batman always pops up. The main performance, the Flying Graysons, ended in a cut-short tragedy. Dick Grayson's parents were killed in an accident. No- murdered. Bruce knew it, and so did Dick. After interacting as Bruce Wayne, offering his condolences, he eventually met Dick as the Batman, and from then on, an alliance was born.
