A live-action take on the family-friendly classic, Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses (2006). Barbie, known as Genevieve, and her 11 sisters, live a happy life in their kingdom under the rule of their caring father. When the king orders his cunning cousin Rowena to help bring up the girls properly, the girls become oppressed by her strict regulations. They discover a magic land gifted to them by their mother and dance their way through the night for 3 days. They then discover Rowena's plot to kill the king and stop her before it is too late.
