Tav finds himself taken captive by mind flayers who have launched an invasion of Faerûn in their spelljamming ship. They have implanted Tav with illithid tadpole, parasites capable of enthralling and transforming them into other mind flayers; however, before transformation is complete, the ship comes under attack from githyanki warriors and their red dragons. Protagonist is freed during the fighting but ship crashes. Journey to Baldur's Gate begins while faith of all Faerûn hangs on a thread (This is a tv series; so no A-listers, lets focus more on lesser known actors with emphasis on original va where possible)
