The X-Men attacks were all a distraction for Dr. Doom to do what he needs to build his weapon and get Magento's fortress up and flying. The X-Men and Hulk come back to their senses when Magneto's fortress comes to light: Asteroid M! It flies up into space with Doom's weapon attached to it! But on Asteroid M, the Brotherhood of Mutants notice something is off about the weapon: only Doom can control it! Then, Doom takes control of Asteroid M from Magento! Now he has become part of the fortress!!! Magento tries to attack, but Doom shocks him and sends the Brotherhood scattered across the Asteroid!!! Now Doctor Doom can unleash his vengeance upon the Earth!!!
