Synopsis

This show will be faithful to its source material. It takes place 75 years after Aang became the official Avatar. The four nations are living in a new era. Particularly the Industrial Revolution, when cars and wireless radios became a thing. Avatar Aang has died of old age, but has been reincarnated as Korra, a headstrong teenager from the Southern Water Tribe. So far, she has learned waterbending, earthbending, and firebending. Now she has to learn airbending, and her reluctant mentor is Aang's youngest son, Tenzin, who is easily irritable, because of the pressure of raising three kids and expecting a fourth. While exploring Republic City, Korra discovers a "Pro-bending" arena and wishes to attend. One thing led to another and now she's a waterbender on a team called the Fire Ferrets, and the other members are firebender, Mako, and his earthbending brother, Bolin. Another big problem is that there is conflict regarding benders and non-benders treating each other with prejudice and an evil organization called the Equalists, les by a masked man who can take away people's bending.
