Astrid Stahlbaum is a 17-year-old orphan who loves to dance ballet like her mother, who was a ballerina. She and her friends Melissa and Lucy must travel to Britain to participate in Ballerina 2025, which will be held in Britain as the host of the competition, so that she can become a successful ballerina, having to overcome her rival Selina, a popular and spoiled ballerina. In the end, Astrid becomes the adopted daughter of her British husband, who is a ballet teacher and host of the program.
