Astrid is a kind and friendly teenage orphan who dreams of becoming a ballerina like her late mother. One day, after her late mother gave her a pair of rainbow ballet slippers as a birthday present, she put them on. When she tries on a pair of sparkly rainbow shoes, she and her best friends, Emma furi and Sophia Perez, are whisked away to a fantasy world of ballet. There, Astrid discovers that she must dance in her favorite ballets to defeat her evil rival tracie and her evil rich mother. With following your dreams and dancing beautifully full of rainbows, it's a wonderful journey where if you dance with your heart, dreams come true!
