Ubisoft Finale
The plot is set in a fictional history of real world events and follows the centuries-old struggle between the Assassins, who fight for peace with free will, and the Templars, who desire peace through control. The framing story is set in the 21st century and features an unnamed and unseen protagonist, who joins the Assassins as an initiate to help them locate the corpse of an 18th century Sage before Abstergo (the modern-day incarnation of the Templars). The main story is set in Paris during the French Revolution and follows Assassin Arno Victor Dorian and his efforts to expose the true powers behind the Revolution.
