Echoes of Vengeance
In the turbulent aftermath of the Armenian Genocide, the remnants of a displaced people seek justice and recognition. “ASALA” follows Hagop Hagopian (Brad Pitt) and Kevork Ajemian (Sam Elliott), leaders of the Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia, as they seek retribution against those they hold responsible for the atrocities. Their campaign of violence against Turkish diplomats and officials becomes a global spectacle, drawing both attention and condemnation.
