A full nine months have passed by. Bruce Wayne, in the event of returning from the dead and successfully defeating the entirety of both the Justice League and Teen Titans, has brought The Regime back to power. Here, society is given a choice: join him, or face the consequences. Many have joined his ranks, feeling they have no say in the decision. Some have taken their own lives as a last act of defiance against the Superior Batman. A few have even been transported to Arkham Asylum to live out the rest of their lives behind the confines of the newly constructed Red Sun prison cells. One of the many imprisoned is none other than Clark Kent, better known as Superman, who searches for a way out of Arkham Asylum so he can have another chance at bringing his old friend back from evil.
