Arthur Curry assumes as king and has a relationship with Mera, but a group of Atlanteans will not accept a half-breed as their king, one of them is King Nereus, who was engaged to Mera. So also the supporters of King Orm will try to expel him from the throne, with Tula and Murk in command of this movement, Arthur will try to unify the Atlanteans with the surface, Dr. Steven Shin loses credibility with the scientific community for not having evidence on the existence of Atlantis so he will ally with Black Manta to look for the relics of Atlantis and thus regain credibility.
