Seeing the upsurge of violence and destruction over the past few years and the corruption of his own employers at Roxxon, Hank Pym is determined to find another way. Experimenting with his versatile, yet volatile, PYM particles, he cobbles together a new, more peaceful method to fight crime, while keeping his new identity a secret from his wife, Janet Van Dyne.
