2-years after the events of A Minecraft Movie, the Overworld is thriving. Steve is a strange but beloved presence in Chuglass, Idaho. Garrett is now a household name thanks to the smash hit arcade game Block City Battle Buddies. Henry’s jetpack is under government study, Natalie runs a popular self-defense dojo, and Dawn's petting zoo is a regional sensation. Until one day Steve shows everyone he meet someone her name was Alex, a skilled, sharp-minded survivalist. She's a lone adventurer, haunted by a growing darkness she’s been tracking across a world for years and wants to explore more and Steve tell her about the Overworld and they go to the portal and they get there.
