Anne Jacqueline Hathaway is an American actress known for her roles in comedies, dramas, and fairy tales. Born in 1982, she first became famous for her role in The Princess Diaries in 2001. Hathaway has won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a British Academy Film Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award. Her films have grossed more than $6.8 billion globally. Hathaway is also a UN Women goodwill ambassador and advocate for gender equality.
