Young Anya suffers from amnesia after a train accident, so she can't remember who she is. Rumors go around saying the Russian princess Anastasia may be still alive, so Dmitri and Vlad question Anya and take her to Paris where the Dowager Empress has been waiting for the real Anastasia to be. Dmitri, Anya, and Vlad all journey to Paris to find their true lives. Anya becomes the Grand Dutchess Anastasia and runs off with Dmitri, her true love.
