In 1963, five unruly young women attending the traditional but rapidly declining all-girls boarding school, Miss Godard’s, form a secret club called Daughters of the American Ravioli. The members divulge their secret dreams and vow not to use their higher education to become proper wives, but instead to change the world. However, when they accidentally learn that Miss Godard’s trustees are secretly plotting to merge their school with St. Ambrose, an all-boys boarding school, the club focuses on forming an immediate and outrageous retaliation.
