I'm not sure what Newt's involvement in this story is like, but I'll try to describe it as best I can. Newt is now an adult raised by Ripley, being a quite capable soldier, but on a mission she and her team are ambushed by Waylan Yutani's new weapon, a group of remote-controlled xenomorphs for militia purposes. After the ambush, Newt sends all the information to Ripley to destroy the complex.
