Es la madre de azul. En el pasado, conoció y se casó con Mario Medina con quien tuvo a su hija Azul. Sin embargo, cuando Mario termino siendo un delincuente, Matilda lo abandonó y obligó a Azul a irse con ella. Esto provoco que Azul sintiera un gran resentimiento contra su madre. Ella presencio el asesinato de su hermano a manos de Justo García Iturbe, pero hizo un trato con Justo de que ella guardaría silencio a cambio de que Justo le diera una suma de dinero y también arreglara la victoria de su hija en el concurso en el que participaría.
