In a post-WW3 Tokyo gripped by corruption, gang violence and anarchy, 16-year-old biker gang leader Kaneda must deal with the stresses of his life that unfurls as he is caught in the crossfire. To complicate matters, his best friend and right hand man Tetsuo gains psychokinetic abilities after a freak accident with a government test subject, and Kaneda must stop him before he goes too far off the edge.
