John, an elderly man from Melbourne, has never had it easy; he grew up with an abusive, domineering father, he walked out on his young family, and his oldest son lives in America with a grandson he hasn't seen since he was a baby. But soon, John's life changes when he meets Diana, a young Filipino immigrant, and the two, despite the massive age difference, start a relationship.
