1 comment on A Whole Country Music Is A Love Story

  • jakubduda You know when something comes along and you realize you're exactly where you're supposed to be? That's the feeling Jamie had when he saw the lineup poster for the C2C country music festival, which featured two of his favorite female country singers, Lainey Bennett and Avery Jackson, and the country band The Churchcrows. Dylan Goodman is also great. The accommodations and tickets from Friday to Monday cost his entire paycheck, but he was happy to go. Lainey and her entourage are getting ready for the C2C concert. After Jamie checks in, he goes to C2C, it's Friday, and he's looking forward to seeing The Churchcrows. During their concert, he's standing right next to the stage, and when he looks around, he notices that Lainey Bennett is next to him, then a love song starts and people are dancing. When Lainey asks him if he would dance with her, he is shaking inside, like a little dog and his heart skipped a beat, but despite that and the fact that he can't dance, he says in a deep cowboy voice "It would be my pleasure." After the dance, Lainey's boyfriend, who Jamie didn't know about, arrives and is an NFL Quarterback. Oddly enough, Tyler Gibbs and Jamie become friends. On Saturday, Jamie goes to a bar and meets Lainey, who is there with her backing band and her boyfriend. Jamie buys her a drink and they have a good time. Then, Saturday is interwoven from both perspectives, where they occasionally pass each other but don't meet, even despite Dylan Goodman's performance. It's funny that they both read the Bible, both checked the NFL scores, both ate the same thing, but separately. On Sunday morning, they met for breakfast at a restaurant, Lainey was upset and confided that she and Tyler had argued. They spend the afternoon together. Later, they meet at Avery Jackson's concert. Lainey then calls him over and tells him that she and Tyler broke up and that she can't sing. But he talks her out of it. When it's her turn, Jamie is impatiently waiting for Lainey. She goes on stage, the music starts playing and she starts crying. Jamie grabs the microphone, walks on stage and starts singing her song. He goes over to her, wipes a tear and sings until she joins in. And so the videos of Lainey's performance go around the world and Jamie finds the love of his life in an unexpected place and with a woman he didn't expect.
