There, he was a reclusive, quiet young man who spent time channeling his anger through physical training and the study of criminal justice. Since becoming an adult, Ellis has become a successful and sought-after insurance investigator who has no problem looking into suspicious claims in remote, backwoods locations or where the usual investigator is too afraid to venture. Ellis is also a writer whose first and only novel, "The Cheddar Bay Diaries" won literary accolades. He is not a fan of escapist entertainment.
